Lettering for windows, doors, vehicles and boats

Cut vinyl lettering is the standard way to put a business name, hours of operation, a phone number or a registration number on glass or paint. It arrives weeded and taped: line it up once, squeegee it down, peel the tape away.

Common jobs

Storefront window lettering and business hours decals, glass door logos, truck door lettering and fleet numbers, boat registration numbers and boat names, office and shop wall quotes, mailbox and house numbers, and open/closed and parking signage. Any font, any of our vinyl colours, any size up to four feet.

Sizing it

Measure the space, not the letters — the size you order is the overall bounding box. A useful sign-trade rule: letters need roughly one inch of height for every ten feet of viewing distance, so hours on a door read fine at 1–2" while a sign meant for the street should be much larger. Unsure? Send the measurement and we will lay it out to fit.

Fine detail

Very thin strokes and text under about half an inch are hard to weed and tend to lift. Our automatic file check flags anything risky at your chosen size before you pay.

Common questions

What file format should I send?

Vector artwork — SVG, PDF, AI or EPS — is best, and for cut vinyl it is required. For printed products a PNG or JPG works too as long as it is at least 150 DPI at your finished size. We check your file automatically as soon as you upload it and tell you before you pay if there is a problem.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes — $40 per item, and that already includes shipping and handling. Smaller quantities are welcome; they simply come to the minimum, so most people order a few rather than one.

Will I see a proof before it is printed?

If your artwork needs a closer look, or the order is a larger one, we send you a proof and nothing is made until you approve it. Straightforward orders with clean artwork go straight into production so you are not waiting on us for no reason.

How long does it take?

Most orders are made within about five business days, plus shipping time. Holographic takes a little longer. If you need it faster, add rush production at checkout.

Where do you ship?

Anywhere in Canada, and shipping is free on every order — it is already included in our prices, and no sales tax is added, so the figure you see is exactly what you pay.

Do you charge sales tax?

No. There is no sales tax added at checkout — the total you see when you configure your item is exactly what you pay, shipping included.

Can I return them?

Custom-made items cannot be returned, because they are made specifically for you and cannot be resold. If something arrives faulty or is not what you approved, tell us and we will put it right.
