Cut vinyl or printed?

It is the question that decides everything else. Cut vinyl — also called die cut vinyl, a die-cut decal or vinyl transfer lettering — is a single colour of material cut to the exact shape of your artwork on a plotter, weeded by hand and pre-masked with transfer tape. No background, no ink, no visible sticker edge; it needs a vector file, and it outlives anything printed. Printed is full colour on white or clear vinyl, laminated and contour cut, and it will take a photograph or a logo with a hundred colours in it.

If you are not sure which you want, tell us what it is for and we will recommend one. If you need lettering on a window or a truck door, that is cut vinyl. Read the decal guide or which vinyl is right, or go straight to die-cut vinyl decals. Before you send artwork, the artwork guide says what file we need; when it arrives, the application guide says how to put it on.

How it works

  1. Tell us what you need. Email info@signs613.com or send the form — size, quantity, and your artwork or a photo.
  2. Get a clear quote. A real person replies, usually by email, with a price and a turnaround. Expedited shipping quoted on request.
  3. Approve your proof. Nothing is cut or printed until you say so.
  4. Delivered. Free standard shipping anywhere in Canada, or installed on site in the 613 area.

Common questions

How do I order or get a quote?

Two ways, both of which reach the same inbox: email info@signs613.com, or use the request form on this site. Tell us what you need, roughly what size and how many, and attach your artwork or a photo if you have one. A real person replies with a clear quote — there is no online checkout, so you always talk to us first. If you would rather be phoned back, put your number in the form and say so, and we will call you.

Do you ship across Canada?

Yes. Standard shipping is free anywhere in Canada on decals, stickers, lettering, magnets and banners. Expedited shipping is available on request — ask when you order and we will quote it. Installations and large signs are handled on site in the 613 area; for anything else, Canada-wide is the norm.

What is a die cut vinyl decal?

It is a decal cut from a single colour of solid vinyl on a plotter, weeded by hand, and pre-masked with transfer tape so the whole design goes on in one piece. There is no printing and no background — just your logo or lettering, with the surface showing through everywhere else, and no visible sticker edge. Because there is no ink to fade, cut vinyl outlasts printed work: Oracal 651 is rated up to six years outdoors and cast 751 up to eight. It is what we make most of, and it ships anywhere in Canada ready to apply.

What do you make?

Cut vinyl decals and lettering, full-colour printed stickers, vehicle and trailer graphics, magnetic vehicle signs, yard signs, banners, window perf and storefront signs, plus professional installation and one-off custom projects.

What artwork do you need from me?

Vector files (SVG, PDF, AI or EPS) are ideal, and cut vinyl needs them. For printed work a sharp PNG or JPG is fine. Only have a photo of an old sign or a sketch? Send it anyway — we can redraw artwork for you.

Will I see a proof before anything is made?

Yes. Every job gets a proof by email, and nothing is cut or printed until you approve it.

How long does it take?

Most decal, sticker and lettering jobs are made within about five business days of proof approval, plus shipping time. Larger signs, trailers and installations are scheduled with you. In a hurry? Say so and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

Do you use quality materials?

Yes. We use premium films and substrates, including 3M and Oracal products, chosen for the job so the finished sign or decal performs in real outdoor Canadian conditions.

Custom die cut vinyl decals, shipped anywhere in Canada

Cut vinyl is what this shop does best. A die-cut vinyl decal is cut from a single colour of vinyl on a plotter, weeded by hand and covered with transfer tape, so what lands on your window, truck door, boat, toolbox or storefront is your logo and nothing else — no background, no printed edge, no laminate going cloudy in five years. We cut custom vinyl decals, vinyl transfer lettering, business logo decals, fleet and boat numbering, window and hours-of-operation lettering, and one-off shapes for packaging and display, in any colour and any size up to four feet wide.

Ordering from outside Ontario changes nothing. Decals ship flat, pre-masked and ready to apply, with free standard shipping to every province and territory — a decal made here costs a customer in Vancouver or Halifax what it costs one in Kingston, and expedited shipping is quoted on request. Start with die-cut vinyl decals, custom vinyl lettering, window decals, wall decals or custom sticker sheets.

If you have been searching for a sign shop in Belleville, custom signs in Belleville, a sign maker nearby, or simply signs near you, that is us: we measure, make and install storefront and 4×8 signs, window lettering, vehicle and trailer graphics, banners and yard signs across Belleville, Quinte West, Trenton, Kingston, Napanee, Prince Edward County and the surrounding towns. Contractors, fleets, small businesses, events and local organisations rely on us for signage that is clean, professional and built to last outdoors. Email info@signs613.com with a photo of the space and a sentence about the job. That is usually enough for a quote.
